What is Embott?
Embott is an AI sales agent that lives in the chat widget on your website. It greets every visitor with page context (product, cart, blog post, etc.), qualifies leads using SPIN / Challenger / Sandler frameworks, recovers idle carts with one-tap discount codes, books calls, and escalates to a live human when it can't resolve a question. Powered by Anthropic's Claude.
How long does it take to install?
About 60 seconds. Sign up → paste your domain → Embott crawls automatically → copy one script tag (or install our Shopify / WooCommerce plugin) → paste before </body> → live on every page.
Do you have a free plan?
Yes. Free includes 100 conversations / month, 1 site, full bot, lead capture, basic analytics. No card. Paid plans start at $19 / mo Starter (1,500 chats).
How long until the bot looks "trained"?
Embott crawls your site on signup. Sites under 200 pages: 5–10 minutes. Large Shopify stores (5k+ SKUs): 30–60 minutes. You'll see "✓ Ready" in the dashboard.
Do I need to write any code?
No. Universal install is a single script tag. Shopify is a one-click App Embed Block (no theme code edits). WooCommerce / WordPress is a standard plugin upload.

How the bot works

How is Embott different from Intercom, Tidio, Drift?
Most chat tools answer questions. Embott actively sells — it qualifies leads, handles objections, recovers carts, and books meetings using proven sales frameworks. Page-aware (product / cart / blog), runs on Claude, supports 30+ languages.
Does it speak other languages?
Yes. 30+ languages auto-detect from the first message — English, Spanish, French, German, Italian, Portuguese, Dutch, Swedish, Norwegian, Polish, Hindi, Hinglish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Korean, and more.
Can I tune personality, tone, and goals?
Yes — in Bot settings. Bot name, personality (warm / professional / playful), brand voice, sales goals (recover carts, upsell, book calls), discount policy (cap %, exclusion list), and a free-text "sales context" where you describe your business.
What if the bot can't answer?
It escalates to a human. Visitor sees a graceful handoff; your team is paged in real time via live dashboard, browser push notification, and (optionally) email. Anyone on your team can take over inside Embott.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes — mobile-first widget, fully responsive launcher, and the dashboard works on phones so you can take over chats from anywhere.

Privacy & security

Is Embott GDPR compliant?
Yes — GDPR + CCPA compliant. Zero-retention Claude API, hashed IPs, AES-256 at rest, TLS 1.3 in transit. All three Shopify GDPR webhooks (customers/data_request, customers/redact, shop/redact) wired. See /privacy.
Do you train AI on my conversations?
No. Anthropic Claude runs on a zero-retention API tier — data isn't retained after the request is served and is never used to train any public model.
Where is data stored?
Encrypted Postgres in DigitalOcean's EU (Frankfurt) and US (NYC3) regions. Backups AES-256 encrypted, retained 30 days.
Can I delete a visitor's data on request?
Yes — from the conversation view: Delete. Or email info@websenor.com. Shopify GDPR webhooks honoured automatically.

What counts as a "conversation"?
One conversation = one unique visitor talking to the bot, no matter how many messages they send. If they return tomorrow that's a new conversation.
What if I go over the limit?
The bot keeps responding — we never cut off a paying customer's visitors. You'll see a banner in the dashboard. Overage charges only happen if you opt in.

Which platforms work?
Shopify Theme App Extension (no theme code edits), WooCommerce + WordPress plugin, Wix, Squarespace, Webflow, custom HTML (universal script tag), and REST API for everything else.
Which CRMs sync?
HubSpot, Klaviyo, Mailchimp, Salesforce (beta), Pipedrive (beta). Leads auto-push as contacts; full transcript attached as note; revenue attribution flows back.
Can the bot book meetings?
Yes — paste your Cal.com / Calendly / SavvyCal link in Bot settings and Embott pushes it at every CTA moment ("Want a 15-min call with our team?").
